How to break free from the Negative mindset

Overcome Negative Mindset
 
The effects of Negative thinking have been well demonstrated by multiple scientific studies today. Negative feelings increase the likelihood of developing conditions such as hypertension, depression and other stress-related disorders. A negative mindset keeps us stuck to the past and lowers our productivity and capacity to achieve our goals in life. Good news is, that We can train the mind to release deep rooted negative ways of thinking, feeling and living.
 

Here are a few things we could do to overcome Negative mindset and conditioning:
 

1. Catch Your Negativity Early
 
Don’t let negative feelings consume your energy. Once you are already deep in anxiety, it’s more likely that you will find it hard to lift yourself up. So be on the lookout for the first signs of negativity. As soon as you spot a mood shift toward irritability, anger, frustration, worry, or pessimism, immediately pause. This is the right time to handle these feelings. Sit Still. Take a few deep breaths and try to calm yourself down. Acknowledge how you are feeling without suppressing or trying to control them. Let the emotions pass. If you feel very restless, You may splash some water on your face, it will make you feel better. You may also start walking for few minutes or even listen to some calming and relaxing music. They will allow you to shift your feelings and won’t allow the negativity within you to settle.
 

 
2. Strengthen your inner dialogue
 
We all talk to ourselves in our heads. When the voice in your head starts saying things that trigger worry, fear, anger, guilt or shame, pause for a moment, and say to that voice, “That’s not me anymore,” or “I don’t need this thought and feeling anymore,” or “This thought does not serve me anymore”. Continue talking to yourself in this manner until the negative thoughts go away. Very soon, you will experience less and less of these limiting thoughts. The Key to the success of this practice is to keep doing consistently.
 

3. Change your Words
 
Words have Power. Do not waste a single moment indulging in blame and criticism. Energy flows where Attention goes. What you speak about others gets activated within your own energy. “What went well” speak about it in 5 sentences. What did not go well speak about it in one sentence only or best avoid talking about it at all. Avoid speaking about negative experiences to others unless you are talking to your therapist or to a person who is helping you deal with your situation appropriately.
 
Negative talk will pull you down and you will keep inviting more drama and misery into your life. Instead Choose Pleasant words, they will heal your heart and improve your situations faster. Here is an example on how to use the power of words to overcome negative feelings, Replace the words. “ I hate to do this  “or ” I don’t want to do this” with the words, “ I want to do something better ”
 

 

4. Look for the Good in everything
 
Every situation carries with it a gift in the form of a lesson. If something did not turn out well, Spend some time in Silence. Reflect on your own thoughts ad feelings about what has happened. Ask the Higher Power to guide you on how to best deal with the situation. If yous it with love and patience, Answers will certainly come and when they do, Act on them.
 
Silent Sitting is a very healthy practice. You must make time for it daily. Sitting in silence will help you stay more connected with yourself. You will receive guidance that will show you the easiest and most effective ways to live your life and achieve your desired results with more positivity and joy.

5. Forgive everyone
 
Unforgiveness creates major blockages to us experiencing happiness and peace. Remind yourself, what happened now has no power, for it is already gone, but what matters is what you are presently thinking and feeling about it. Resentments keep our body in stress and tension. They keep the mind chaotic and unsettled. The effects of the Past can only be removed with the Power of your Present thoughts and Vibration. Think of people you hold resentment towards and repeat to yourself a few times daily, “ I choose to Forgive everyone.”  Mentally bless others with good health and happiness. If you keep doing this, you will be training your subconscious mind to release the past and let go of these negtative thoughts and feelings.
 

 

6. Keep Good company
 
Spending time with someone keeps you on the same frequency as them. This is why it is so important to surround yourself with people who are positive, cheerful and fun loving. Seeing positive and happy faces around you will inspire you to become like them. Their positive words will sink in deep in your mind and affect your own way of thinking. They will start to postiively impact your words, actions and overall attitude in life. Being around positive people will allow you to train your mind to Feel better and Achieve bigger in your life. Such healthy company will help keep you strong and motivated in life.
