Why connect with and heal your inner child?
Many of us continue to believe that our childhood is responsible for our current situations and that there is no way we can change that. The good news is that you do not need to change what happened. You just need to find a way to transform your own relationship with your inner child and heal the child within.
If we are disconnected with this part of us that stores all our past, then we often uninner knowingly respond to our life and situations from a wounded place within us. we often allow past memories to continue dominating our current vibration and state of mind. This means that we continue living in the past rather than making the most of our present moment.
Connecting with our inner child is a great way to heal the past. Your inner child needs attention and love. Just as all our other relationships need time and respect, so too the inner child within us needs to feel loved and cared for. Give to the child within you the love and the joy you may have yourself missed receiving in your own childhood. That is a powerful way to engage with your inner child.
You will see beautiful changes in your behaviour, energy, moods and interactions with the world when you begin to send right messages and feelings to your inner child. Remember it is through your own inner child that you interact with the World.
