Attitude of Gratitude I 3 Powerful Practices I Dr Karishma Ahuja
The word Gratitude is actually derived from the Latin word “gratia”, which means grace, graciousness or even gratefulness. In many ways, gratitude encompasses all of these meanings. Gratitude is a heartfelt appreciation for something we have recived or experienced – whether it is tangible or intangible, big or small.
Gratitude transforms our mind, heart and energy. With gratitude, we start to recognize, acknowledge and feel the goodness around us. For once, it allows us to free ourselves from our ego self that is so accustomed to find fault and criticize things and people. Being grateful helps us to connect to something larger than ourselves as individuals – to other people, nature, even divine power or universal consnciousness.
When we create space for Gratitude, we create space for joy, love and transformation. We become self aware and alert in the present to recognize the many blessings and opportunities we are receiving. If you are grateful in the present, it is almost impossible to have any negative thought about your past or even anxiety or anxiousness for your future.
If Gratitude is so powerful and magical, why not take few minutes daily to practice it from the depths of your heart. The practices shared in this video will leave you feeling lighter, happier and empowered to go after and achieve your dreams, desires and goals.
