Reduce Anxiety and experience true peace, freedom and success in your life
Several studies today confirm the ill effects of WORRY on our lives, health, careers and even relationships. The result of Anxiety is that our body cells never get to relax and our muscles and nerves always remain tense. We affect our own physiology adversely. When we are too anxious, we are never really fully alert and conscious in the present moment. Neither do we enjoy the good moments in our hands. Anxiety and Stress affect our ability to think clearly and to execute ideas and actions effectively.
Here are a few ways that will help you reduce Anxiety and Stress and experience more Peace, Joy, Success and Wellbeing in your life.
1. Practice the virtue of Patience
Start your day with an intention that you will be patient in everything you do. Instead of rushing up with things, try to enjoy and so them patiently. Patience will reduce stress and fear. You will come from a space of equanimity and calmness. Calmness will bring Relaxation and power. This is one of the best ways to overcome stress. During the day, keep reminding yourself that calmness will positively affect the quality of your life, health, career as well as your relationships. Repeat the words, “ I am calm, everything is under control.”
2. Take Time to Respond
Practice the art of thinking before you Act. Think, pause, reflect, then speak or do. This helps reduce stress that comes with responding too quickly and making mistakes in the process. This is the golden rule to lead a happy and healthy life.
One great way to learn to respond instead of reacting is to start doing some deep breathing. Mentally count 1 as you inhale and 2 as you exhale. Continue focusing on your breath until you feel your anxiety coming down. As your breath slows down, the confusion or clutter in your mind reduces, you become more relaxed and mindful in the moment. When you start to feel better, you may go ahead and take the action you want to take.
3. Consciously choose Love
The best response to stress and Anxiety is the response of Love. Whenever you speak or undertake any task, remember to say it and do it with love. If you respond with love, you will raise your vibration and boost your own energy. And most people around you will appreciate your gesture. Love makes you more compassionate and peaceful. You will make more friends and gather more support. Love strengthens your spirit and empowers your mind. It helps you to stay positive and cheerful which is extremely important to resolve problems and achieve desired results.
4. Mind your Words
Words can cause a lot of tension. Remove negative words from your vocabulary and replace them with sweet, uplifting and positive words. Try to replace negative words with positive ones. Let’s take an example, instead of saying, “I don’t want to fail”, you can now say, “ I wish to succeed joyfully.”
Words are energy. The words you speak become thoughts in your mind and start driving your behavior and controlling your results. Always speak sweetly and softly. This will help keep your thoughts pure and your energy strong.
5. Be Grateful
Always think and talk about all the good that you have experienced in your life. If you dwell too much on negative events, they will occupy your vibration and further make you restless and stressed.
Start and end your day with Gratitude. Every morning wake up with the thought, “I am lucky and fortunate to be alive”. Sleep with the thought, “I am grateful for all the things that worked out well for me today”. Even if things did not work out well in some area, thank the universe for its support by saying, I surrender my doubts and disappointments to you and I seek your guidance to achieve my goals “. People who are Grateful are always Happy and Peaceful. Whenever you feel you are slipping away into negativity, start chanting mentally or verbally the words, “Thank you Universe for your blessings”, Everything will go well.”. Continue chanting until your restlessness comes down and you start to feel better.
Best Wishes
