How to create Strong bonds and Healthy Relationships

Relationships can seem like a lot of work but they are definitely rewarding and life altering. After all, relationships form a big part of our lives. There is an inherent desire within each one of us to bond well with others and to share love and joys in cherished friendships and relations.

Healthy Relationships are those that involve honesty, trust, respect, love and open communication. Such relationships help us walk through life stronger together sharing our ups and downs, highs and lows, pains and joys. Without valuable relationships, life wouldn’t be the same at all. We wouldn’t be who we are without the understanding, love, care, value and support we enjoy in relationships. In challenging and difficult times in one’s life, these relationships and strong ties evoke within us strength and power to resolve problems and take charge of our lives.

Now that we have summarized how important relationships are, let us look at how we can attract and create these meaningful bonds:

1. Understand Yourself better

The first step in connecting with others is to connect with yourself first. Know yourself better. Understand how your own mind works. What are your thoughts and feelings about yourself? What are your deeper needs? What do you really look for in relationships and friendships? How are you as a lover, friend, family member? What is your own Value system? Do your words, conversations and actions reflect the qualities you wish to see in others?

Contemplating on these questions allows you to gain a deeper understanding of how you give and receive love from others and inspires you to create necessary changes within your own self instead of blaming or criticizing others. This understanding encourages you to be true to who you are as a Person and guides you towards building authentic, strong bonds with the right people. A person who is clear about these above thoughts operates more from self confidence and security and more easily gets into meaningful relationships that satisfy his soul and uplift his spirit.

2. Set Strong Intentions

No matter who you are and what your past has been like, you are a wonderful, worthy and capable person! You deserve to have good relationships and friendships around you. But you must understand, like everything else in your life, even relationships come to you, by the WILL and POWER OF YOUR OWN MIND. If you haven’t been fortunate enough in attracting good relationships, don’t think it’s your fault. Just remember you have not taken enough responsibility so far to change your thoughts and redirect your energy towards WHAT YOU WANT TO HAVE and experience.

Reflect on the type of connections you are seeking. Do you want to have more fun-loving and affectionate people around you? Do you want to have more mature, ambitious and intelligent people who inspire you to achieve your dreams or do you want to have a combination of all these qualities? Identify these traits you want to see in your partner, friends or loved ones and set a STROGN INTENTION that you will attract these kinds of connections, bonds and energies in your life. Intentions energize your thoughts and start impressing your subconscious mind to manifest these thoughts into your life.

3. Be Kind to Yourself

Be gentle with yourself, and know that relationships take time to nurture and cultivate. You don’t have to feel bad about not having those desirable relationships yet. Don’t compare your relationships to others. Social media can make people feel lonelier and very different from others. But Everybody has their own story and everybody’s story can ultimately turn out beautiful if we stop seeing ourselves as victims. We must see ourselves as Victors who are being given a chance, a new day every day to work these things out for ourselves. Refrain from overthinking and thoughts of self judgement. Accept that relationships are all about the journey – an ever evolving process where we constantly reflect on how we feel, what we are grateful for, and how we can think and act to make things work better.

4. Keep a Positive Mental Attitude

Relationships are about accepting one another with all our faults while consciously trying to help one another grow and evolve. What is important to understand is we keep a POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE at all times. With such an attitude, not only will we work on our own weaknesses, we will also help other people improve, transform and shine. A positive attitude helps you stay patient and optimistic. This optimism, acceptance and Patience with which you deal in your relationships is the key to developing strong, lifelong bonds. A healthy mental attitude instills joy, peace and love within and around us.

But remember Acceptance and love begins at home. The greater part of each of our lives is spent in our homes, with our families and our home should be a place filled with love, peace and happiness, not hate, resentments and bitterness. If it isn’t a happy and joyful home for you right now, start right away to give importance to those relationships. You will be surprised to see how they can magically transform every other relationship in your life.

Love, share, trust and expect the best always. If you believe you are worthy, loving relationships will be the greatest gifts of your life.
